How was your 4th?
We had a wonderful day!
Hubby and I took the girls to the parade downtown. It was so hot and we had to walk a ways, but it was still great fun! We hung out with some great friends and got nice and tan.
The best part of the parade was the little Mexican popsicle cart came along the route. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? These things are TO-DO-FOR.
If you've never experienced one of the popsicles, you must. They are creamy, kind of like ice cream, with big chunks of fruit. Get strawberry if you want to be cool. ;)
After the parade we had a bunch of our friends over and we let the kids swim. We got tacos from the authentic taco place in town...La Tapatia (obsessed) ...haha, guess it was a Mexican-food kinda day.
Went to the fireworks downtown later at night. There must have been 30,000 people there...no joke. We'd been to Sturtevant fireworks the night before...we always like to take in a few shows. It was great fun...a great day of friends and family to celebrate the 4th!

Oh my gosh, I LOVE MEXICAN FOOD! Now I'm drooling. Also, we have an El Tapatios! Think he's La Tapatia's girlfriend? ;)
